Tom Harte Farm Services (THFS) are a DeLaval Agency supplying the Dairy Farming Industry with Milking Machines and ancillary consumables. Due to expansion in the business, THFS are looking for a Robotic Service Technician to join our growing Robotic Milking Team in the South West of Ireland. 

Based in the areas of, Kerry, Tipperary or Limerick, we are looking Robotic Service Technicians. There will be travel in the first year to facilitate training.

Company Van and an extensive training package in robotic systems will be provided in combination with DeLaval.

 Responsibilities

• Carry out regular services and installations at customer site
• Respond to breakdowns at customer site to minimise down time for the customer. Be available to facilitate after hours on-call as part of a team rota.
• Create customer invoice for works carried out in a timely and accurate manner
• Provide feedback to the customer as required
• Attend any training, both external and on the job and take a proactive approach to learning the range of DeLaval products
• Work on you own and as part of a team with sales, dairy advisors and tech staff
• High standard of workmanship whilst implementing Health & Safety
• Flexibility with the ability to plan, priorities and improvise according to demand

  Experience and knowledge:

• Experience of service work preferably within the agricultural industry but not essential
• Proven record of outstanding customer relations
• Fluent in English with good communication skills at all levels, demonstrating excellent verbal, written and IT skills.
• Technical and mechanical knowledge and good problem-solving abilities
• Interest in animal husbandry and milk production
• Possess a full clean driver’s license
